Jack McDavid's Turkey Burgers

Ingredients for Burgers:

2 lbs turkey, thigh meat, skinned and ground
3 Tbs. parsley, minced
2 Tbs. dry bread crumbs
1 Tbs. fresh thyme
1 Tbs. Old Bay poultry seasoning
1 Tbs. onion, minced

Ingredients For Dressings:

1 sweet red onion, diced
1/4 avocado, sliced thin
Tartar sauce

Directions for Burgers:

1. Mix ingredients together well and refrigerate for at least two hours.
2. Portion into large burgers and grill while cold.
3. Grill over hickory or charcoal.
4. Serve with dressing.

Method for Dressing:

1. Combine ingredients and mix well.
2. Serve over burgers.
