Sauteed Brussel Sprouts and Apples
3 Tbsp. butter
1 lb. Brussels sprouts, trimmed, halved lengthwise, (about 4 cups)
1 medium onion, chopped
1/4 tsp. salt
1 gala apple, cored and chopped
2 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
Melt butter in large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat.
Add Brussels sprouts, onion and salt and toss until evenly coated.
Cook, stirring occasionally, until Brussels sprouts are a little browned/charred, about 10
Stir in apple and garlic. Reduce heat to low and cook covered, stirring occasionally, until
tender, about 10 minutes.
